Why do music critics love Radiohead and hate Oasis when Oasis are a far superior band?

Music critics gave the phenomenal Whats the story morning glory album negative reviews until it started selling millions worldwide and breaking all the records. They blindly criticise anything Oasis put out whilst praising any old rubbish Radiohead put out. I think Radiohead are a good band, but I also think they are a very pretentious band and being ′different′, isnt neccesarily a good thing. They were at their best with straight forward pop hits such as ′creep′ and ′high and dry′. Since their early work they have released alot of undeservedly praised crap.

I think I liked one Oasis song, it was one of their big hits at least 6 years ago or more, and as I recall, kind of reminded me of music from Tears for Fears. But then I heard more of their music, and it sounded like they were pretending to be the Beatles, or something. I also read this in a published review of some of their music. Maybe I need to listen a little more, but my patience is running out with them, just not feeling it. Radiohead, on the contrary, is musical genius, and they have released a ton of great music, since "The Bends". You're just not listening, or just don't get it. But if you like just mainly pop music, I guess that would explain it. In fact, they are not getting ENOUGH praise in my opinion.
