Why does Jesus fulfill all the prophecies of Lucifer? Why does no one else?

12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

18All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

19But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sw

Why does Jesus fulfill all the prophecies of Lucifer? Why does no one else?
He also raised the dead and healed the sick and preached about many things of peace and mildness and forgiveness.

Like he said, Satan cannot be against himself.

22?Then they brought him a demon-possessed man, blind and dumb; and he cured him, so that the dumb man spoke and saw. 23?Well, all the crowds were simply carried away and began to say: “May this not perhaps be the Son of David?” 24?At hearing this, the Pharisees said: “This fellow does not expel the demons except by means of Be·el′ze·bub, the ruler of the demons.” 25?Knowing their thoughts, he said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself comes to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26?In the same way, if Satan expels Satan, he has become divided against himself; how, then, will his kingdom stand? 27?Moreover, if I expel the demons by means of Be·el′ze·bub, by means of whom do YOUR sons expel them? This is why they will be judges of YOU. 28?But if it is by means of God’s spirit that I expel the demons, the kingdom of God has really overtaken YOU. 29?Or how can anyone invade the house of a strong man and seize his movable goods, unless first he binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30?He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters.
Reply:You should also quote revelations where Jesus is referred to as the son of the morning. You can quote OT where it says about the antichrist coming to do away with the law and the NT where it says Jesus came to do away with the law.

There is much more than that.
Reply:You might want to quit reading the bible.
Reply:Ezekiel 28:

13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

that doesn't define Jesus. does this prophecy about Satan fall into the category of "all"?

What about the rest of the passage that you deliberately cut out?

ord, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

20Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Jesus DESTROYED Israel!?!?

right. you're stretching this one out big time. what about Genesis 3.15 that puts Jesus and Satan in direct opposition with one another? all of that to say that Satan was not a human being - this is evident from the writings of ezekiel, as he is a celestial being, one of the cherubims, and God's greatest creation.

When taken out of context and twisted, Isaiah could be understood to be speaking of Jesus, but when put in context with what other writers say about Satan, it is plain that Isaiah is not talking about Christ.

Are you woman or mirage?

This life is not enough

to understand a woman.

What a thing she is!

No dictionary has enough words

to say about a woman

whatever she is.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the summer.

Both may scorch all living beings.

A woman by saying harsh

and burning words.

All get burning anger.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the winter.

Both make all living things tremble.

A woman does it by terrifying.

Both make fearful all alive

made of bones and meats.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the spring.

Both make beings full of feelings

and dreams of love.

A woman does it by her charming smile

being full in glory and in full flower.

Both make the new world of love

pleasures and dreams.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the rain.

Both bring greenery

or destruction to life.

A woman does it by

showering his sweat

in the right or wrong way.

Both are useful

and both are destructive.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like

the burning heat of June.

Everyone wants to go

far from it.

The woman is disliked

due to his selfishness.

Both are uninteresting

and non-exciting.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like

the morningtime of January.

Both are lovable and enjoyable.

The morning offers

invigorating bath

by the sunbeams.

The woman gives the shelter

of friendly atmosphere.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the sun.

Both rise to light the world

by their great work.

The woman destroys the dark

of life by selfless service.

Both teach to be continuous in the work.

Sometimes we think

the woman is like the moon.

Weak at some times

strong at others.

Dispelling the dark

of some nights

not seen in the dark of others

always reflecting created light.

Sometimes we think

the woman is just like the mirage.

We become as far as we try

to go near to both.

Deer find no water and their thirst

is never slackened.

Are you woman or mirage?

Everyday its a fight b/w me and my 3 yr old to brush his teeth!?

i have tried to lure him with cute brushes..paste is also very tastety ...but i thnk what happens is ..as soon as i start brushing..he starts wriggling..or moving and it hurts him somewhere(mostly in the sides)..he yells...i have to hold him hold him very tight while he is yellnig away to glory before we finish brushing.i have tried to soothe him...told him good and bad stories..ntohing works..i brush after/before him to show him..but no use!

any ideas ?

also,is it as important to a 3yr old to brush in all sides and directions as a adult ?is it ok ..if i do it witj hand @least on the sides ?

i feel so bad to go through it every morning !

Everyday its a fight b/w me and my 3 yr old to brush his teeth!?
It will still be a fight for a while, but keep your ground. he will eventually let up a bit, but for years you will still have to hover over him to see that he does it. Mine is 9..I am still working on it. LOL There is a new item out called Listerine cool blue. It shows kids where the plaque is by turning their teeth blue. It may make it a bit more fun. Also, With my son I started a chart. if he did a good job he got a star. After so many stars he could get a prize. You can choose any kind of prize that will work for your child. Then he will help make the choice to "get it over with" instead of fighting with you. It may make it a bit easier on you. Oh, and YES it is important for them to brush well, even baby teeth and gums. Also those battery operated brushes make the job a bit faster. Kids seem to like the vibration. Good luck. Let me know if it helps you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Reply:my nephew went through the same thing, only his mom wasn't as good at making him do it anyway. So when I went to visit we did it my way and it worked. Make a game of it. "Like open up ohh look you have animals in your teeth, we need to get the animals out." and start naming animals you see in his teeth. He most likely will find it fun and will be glad to chime in with animals he sees. It worked on my stubborn nephew he not only hated to brush his teeth, but he also hated toothpaste; now he is over it! he will brush his teeth toothpaste and all. Just make sure that the brush head is sized smaller for kids that way you will have more control over where you are brushing. Yes it is important to make sure you brush his teeth in all directions. Good luck and happy brushing!
Reply:My daughter went through this too. Once I explained why we need to brush our teeth and what happens if we don't ( "monster" cavitities) she was good to go. I figured she does not know what cavities are, but does know hwat a monster is so I put the two together so she would understand that cavities are bad. We always let her brush them last so she can keep learning to do it herself( and feel independent), and we go first to make sure she gets all her teeth. We have no more power struggles!! :)
Reply:will he not brush his teeth on his own ?

tell your dentist what's going on , hope they have

some tips, sounds like you have done all you can

all I can say is tell your child that if he does not

brush his teeth they will fall out %26amp; he won't be able

to eat the tings he likes to eat

good luck
Reply:You may have started it the wrong way and let him experience unpleasantness in the process.

Try this:

1. Show him pictures of decayed teeth and ask whether he wants his teeth to become that way.

2. Then start by using a finger brush on him gently until he feels confident that it is not so unpleasant. Do not do it by force.

3. Then let him do it himself, again until he feels comfortable. You can brush together. Once he gets the habit, you can teach him the correct way to brush.

There is an oral mouth-wash you can use which will stain food particles left on the teeth. This will show that correct brushing will help. You can ask your dental surgeon about this wash.
Reply:what I do with my son, is have 2 brushes, 1 for me and 1 for him - he has his turn, and then I have a turn doing them for him - we have a egg timer - and its set for 1 min - after then, its my turn for 1 min.

Personally I wouldn't force the issue as it's only going to make it worse - is it that bad that he does his teeth himself for a few weeks??

Make sure his mouth hygiene is good and eats healthily, and it shouldnt be that much of an issue - only really if he eats alot of choc etc..
Reply:For starters paste up his brush so it remains there until the task is done. The tastey toothpaste is a good idea as well as YOU brushing YOUR teeth in front of him to show what a PLEASURABLE experience it IS.

Get HIM to start doing this himself. At this point ANYTHING is better than nothing so don't worry about the quality of the brushing--that'll come later. Perhaps take a different approach such as a GAME of doing it but don't continue to "fight" him. The key here is PLEASURABLE.

If this fails then the withholding of priveleges must be administered, timeout, no play time until it's done. I agree you must stand your ground on this one.
Reply:I tell my 2 year old that we need to brush her friends and then proceed to go through all her teachers and the children at daycare. Some days I may use characters on TV. If she is done before all her teeth are brushed, I can say wait your forgot Mrs. Smith way back there. So far so good. I also take turns with her.
Reply:You're not giving him a choice.. he's 3.. and he's GOT to be hating that. What we tried with my son, was one of those power brushes. They have ones for little kids, my son has a Spiderman one (cause he loves Spiderman). Also, let him try brushing his own teeth. The first couple of times, he's not going to get the back and the sides. He'll probably only brush the front and maybe the tops of the back ones.. but it's not going to hurt anything.

He needs to have the control, that's what being a 3 year old is all about. He's becoming more and more independent and he's going to want to do it himself or nothing at all.

After a few days, try to make a game out of it. Ask to see his beautiful teeth and tell him he missed a spot, but let HIM try to get it himself. He's never going to learn what it takes to brush his teeth if he doesn't do it. So let him.. and eventually.. he'll do it right.

My jewler chipped my diamond!?

By mistake when I took my diamond into be serviced, I noticed the next morning it was foggy. I took it back to the jeweler to show him and he noticed it too. He was not the one who serviced the ring, but one of his workers. He took his loop and studied the diamond, which he knew quite well from previous work done on my ring, and noticed that the corner of my 2 carat trillion had been chipped. He said he would make it perfect again, but I wouldnt have it for the holidays. He called me today and said the diamond could not be repaired back to its glory and that I needed to come in and sit down with him to decided what we need to do. What should i expect from him? I didnt buy the diamond from him, just the setting. I do have insurance on the diamond, should I contact my insurance agent? What about the sentimental value of my original diamond, doesnt that count? Help please!

p.s.

this is a high end one owner store.

My jewler chipped my diamond!?
that is tricky, i would contact my insurance because once a diamond is chipped there is nothing you can do, i dont know what he wanted to do with your diamond over the holiday because all he could do would be fill it, and that will diminish the value just as much as the chip. if you didnt purchase the diamond from him and he was just cleaning it then he isnt liable, but if they were doing work on the ring then im sorry to say they are liable and much replace your diamond.
Reply:You are both insured, so work it out using that. It seems the jeweller understands you are entitled to a full replacement, so sit down and talk. The sentimental value does not come into play for the insurance, only the market value.
Reply:I am truely surprised that a high quality diamond could have been chipped in servicing. What did you have done?

I don't believe that you can insure for sentimental value. If your insurance agent can settle this amicably, you should accept the deal.
Reply:how the hell do you chip a diamond

they are one of the hardest stones on earth
Reply:This is a tough call. You do need to go and sit down with him, with your original appraisal, and make a decision as to what to do. Most likely, the stone will have to be replaced through your insurance policy. Please understand, he is not offering to repair or replace your stone because of the chip - trillions chip extremely easily, and there is no way to prove that the chip happened while in his shop - you could very easily have knocked your hand against a wall, or bumped the ring into something, and chipped the edge yourself. He is looking at the "fogginess" of the stone - generally something seen when the bench jeweler uses too high of a heat in the process of repairing your prong. Regardless, you will most likely be getting a new stone, after your insurance company has contacted the jeweler, gone over any appraisals, and makes a decision to how much it is worth to get it replaced.

As long as the jewelry store goes along with the insurance replacement value, you have no legal reprecussions at all - and if you were to try to spread nasty stories about the quality of their service, you could very easily be sued yourself. Play nice, and be happy you're dealing with a respectable jeweler who is willing to help you replace your stone.
Reply:Each party carries insurance - give them a call.
Reply:Please listen to me. This is what you must do. First, they have damaged your diamond. Diamonds CAN be damaged. They are very hard--but very brittle. Second, you will demand without anger--but without question--the full value monetary of that diamond---or-- have them replace it with one of YOUR choice which is of equal value. Anything else is NOT acceptable. If they argue, or refuse in any way, you must let them know that you will go fully public with the evidence and destroy their reputation. Accidents DO happen, and you must accept this. But they are required to replace with equal value the stone--including any work associated with the setting. This is your right. And nothing less should be offered to you. It sounds like your jeweler is willing to play ball. He has admitted that the diamond is damaged. Tell him the only answer now, is to replace it with a fully equivalent stone...or cash value of the stone, so you can buy it elsewhere. I am sure it was a horrible accident. So try to be patient. And I think he will make good on it. You may even end up with a better diamond! Stay cool. Know your rights. Be prepared to demand what you deserve without hesitation, if it is not offered to you. And finally, make good on your threat if they do not take care of you. A story like yours could virtually destroy their business overnight--and they know know it. Now you do too. Good Luck. I'm sure it will all work out in the end.
Reply:If we assume that the chip was not the result of any special act of negligence on the part of the jewler, it is unlikely that you could recover the full replacement value of the diamond through a law suit. This is because there is always a small risk when submitting jewelry for service, even by an expert, which the customer accepts. (Although this may not be a safe assumption -- diamonds are pretty darn hard).

Your insurance company is certainly the first phone call to make. The jewler will almost certainly have insurance of his own. Your insurance company will speak to his insurance company, and a settlement will be reached.

Your diamond is only insured for actual value. Therefore, what will most likely happen is that the damaged stone will be appraised by a neutral appraiser which both insurance companies can agree on. This appraisal will be compared with the original appraised value of the diamond, and you will be compensated for the difference.

The legal world doesn't care about sentimental value, unfortunately. If the jeweler *was* negligent and you could prove it (which is a long shot), and you have sustained material damages above and beyond the amount covered by insurance (remounting costs, etc.), then you might be able to recover these from the jeweler as well.

P.S. Regarding spreading stories about the jeweller. I advise you strongly not to do this. The other poster is absolutely correct: Such damaging stories could indeed destroy their business. The jeweller may take such a threat very seriously, and so does the law. If you publish or otherwise intentionally and maliciously distribute information to the effect of the jeweller being incompetent, knowing that the effect of these stories is to destroy, diminish, or otherwise interfere with the ability of the jeweller to do business, the jeweller can sue you for: (1) slander and (2) tortious interference with business relationships.

Once you have been hauled into court on these complaints, you will be forced to prove the factual accuracy of each and every statement you have made. This may sound simple, but if the plaintiff is mad at you, they can drag it out until it costs you far more than $17,000, and that is providing that you *win.*

Second, you may or may not be entitled to the replacement value of the stone. It really does depend on why the stone cracked, and what the jeweller did to make it crack.

Christians Only, Please! Will you please read my testimony and tell me what you think?

One day a few weeks ago I was praying to God first thing in the morning, asking Him to reshape my heart and my will to conform to His. I had prayed for that same thing many times before, but this time, as I was praying, I really felt God's presence much more closely and strongly than I ever had before. I sensed quite clearly His light and love and glory all around me. It was just as if a wall between God and me had been broken down at last and now I was standing in His holy light. WOW!!! Throughout that whole day I felt His love pouring down on me, and felt my spirit responding with so much adoration and gratitude toward Him, and so much love for others. I'm completely certain for the first time in my life that God has lit a lamp in my heart that will never go out. Let me tell you just a few of the changes He made in me:

Christians Only, Please! Will you please read my testimony and tell me what you think?
That certainly sounds like getting born-again to me. That is what it was like for me. Just the certaintly and peace and wanting from the heart to please God in everything. Isn't He wonderful? There is nothing like living in peace with God. Congratulations. Very happy for you. I'm sure you will be reading your Bible with a new hunger. Be careful not to start building any wall between you and God by feeling you are not doing everything the Bible says. Just keep on trying and growing, and God will help you be everything you should be.
Reply:Wonderful testimony! That's happened to me - very similar, and it really DOES feel like you are born again! You're a new person!

That's wonderful, praise God!
Reply:Words,

I am so excited for you! That is just a wonderful story and I am also a Christian. My wife and I had a wonderful Bible Study about twenty years ago and were baptized as a result of our belief in Jesus Christ. Keep reading and studying as well as praying each and every day. HIS WORD strengthens me every time that I open it up and read. Have a wonderful evening and a great New Year!

Thanks,

Reply:I say yes because this is how my spiritual rebirth came about. It's a whole new view of everything around you. So many people lose faith because their prayers are not answered. Seek the Kingdom first and then...
Reply:My experience:

I never believed! I wanted to find out for myself! I was an outlaw! One of the famous wild bunch of todays standards.

Even now as I walk the holy lands, I still enjoy my temptations, I like my booze, I like wild women! Think about them all the time! I want one now!!! smile

But, let me say this- I know what I do I will pay for. I know the holy land I walk on is GOD'S land. I have seen the truth. But what is temptation? exactly!
Reply:You ha every right to feel such amazement. God knows what we need even before we do and it is not an old cliche it is true. God knows that what you got is what you needed,

He will make more changes... wait and see
Reply:That is really wonderful. I am happy for you..God does amazing things..If we just pray, he does listen to us!

I had gotten away from God and I missed that feeling of first being saved and feeling that warmth and closeness with God..But I prayed for God to bring me very close to him and open up my heart and I have felt my heart change. It's a very beautiful thing..

It just shows how real God is..

And yes, my whole attitude on people and life has changed too !

This definitely means your 'born again'.. I had the same feelings.. It's like the veil is taken off of your eyes and you can see everything clearly !!

Make sure to read your Bible because that is God's word to us..When I read my Bible it is my intimate time with God and I really feel the holy spirit !

Good luck and God bless :)
Reply:This is a beautiful testimony. I pray you never forget it and know Jesus said...if you confess me before man I will confess you before the holy angels. Praise God.Thanks
Reply:"I was praying to God first thing in the morning, asking Him to reshape my heart and my will to conform to His" Excellent I see you know what prayer is for... You are a regenerate child of the Most High..

I want you to understand that God is a Father. A better Father than any man could be.. If a child is born to a Good Father would he through His new child out is the snow and cold it it got dirty? Would He clean His child and still love her. Once you are born of the Spirit you can't be unborn. rust Jesus to be that Father to you. He promise those that come to Him He will in no wise cast out... Praise Him for the life that is now yours as I do right now. Thanking Him that I have a new sister and someday I will see you as we stand before the mercy seat I will take you hand look up to our Lord and shout my thankfulness that you are indeed my sister.. Till then may we always be IHS Jim

It is hard to explain and convince people how it feels when God decides to release you from the devil's grip. God will help you if you let Him. Don't worry what other people think for they don't realize that the devil loves to dwell in the heart of an unbeliever.
Reply:whatever you do don't step into the light it may be hazardous to your health just kidding but really I am sorry to say that I am only an ex-christian but unlike most people who aren't christians I have this to say congratulations on finding faith in something I take it you aren't one of those people who would condemn a man for not believing in god and I applaud that.

Business

The priests bath?

It was time for Father John's Saturday night bath and the young nun,

Sister

Magdalene, had prepared the bath water and towels just the way the

old nun

had instructed.

Sister Magdalene was also instructed not to look at Father John's

nakedness

if she could help it, do whatever he told her to do, and pray.

The next morning the old nun asked Sister Magdalene how the Saturday

night

bath had gone.

'Oh, sister,' said the young nun dreamily, 'I've been saved.'

'Saved? And how did that come about?' asked the old nun.

'Well, when Father John was soaking in the tub, he asked me to wash

him,

and while I was washing him he guided my hand down between his legs

where he

said the Lord keeps the Key to Heaven.'

'Did he now?' said the old nun evenly.

Sister Magdalene continued, 'And Father John said that if the Key to

Heaven

fit my lock, the portals of Heaven would be opened to me and I would

be assured salvation and eternal peace.

And then Father John guided his Key to Heaven into my lock.'

'Is that a fact?' said the old nun even more evenly.

'At first it hurt terribly, but Father John said the pathway to

salvation

was often painful and that the glory of God would soon swell my heart

with

ecstasy. And it did, it felt so good being saved.'

'That wicked old bastard' said the old nun. 'He told me it was

Gabriel's

Horn, and I've been blowing it for 40 years.'

The priests bath?
