There is a growing sense of outrage in Kalispell Montana after a Mexican flag was erected in front of a U.S. flag 200 feet up a huge tower that belongs to the oldest radio station in America - KGEZ Before the incident, station owner John Stokes said that he was getting calls from angry supporters of the extremist La Reconquista movement, a separatist group that advocates the violent overthrow of the southern and western U.S. states, and had also received death threats.Two Mexican males entered the premises of KGEZ and demanded that another U.S. flag that was on a flagpole be taken down because it was "disrespectful". The flag was later stolen On Wednesday morning the station's ice covered 400 foot radio tower was scaled and the Mexican flag was hung in front of old glory. The Kalispell Police blotter makes mention of the incident but it has received no attention in the media.



We have spoken directly with Mr. Stokes and confirmed the details. Rumors that the flag was in fact Romanian are untrue. Police visited the scene and reported that it was a Mexican flag. Mr. Stokes confirms it was a Mexican flag.



Similar incidents have increased over the past few years. Last month, a veteran from Reno, Nev. made headlines after he took matters into his own hands and tore down a Mexican flag that was being illegally flown above a U.S. flag at a local business.



According to federal law it is illegal to fly any flag above the U.S. flag, and if flying more than one they must be on separate poles and be of an equal size.



The latest incident will fuel tensions about U.S. immigration policy, especially in light of recent revelations concerning the explosion of illegal immigrants now living in America.

It is racist and it is against Federal Law to hang the Mexican Flag above the US flag in the US.



I am a veteran and if I ever see a the Mexican flag flapping in the wind like a flauta over Old Glory I will tear it down myself. I dare them to arrest me!



JJ just above has a great point. If they want confrontation and aggression, they should be obliged. If the people contact their Federal and State Reps enough then 1 of 2 things will happen.



The most likely is that those reps who are cloer to the people and there are a few will gain power and authority in their state houses and in the Federal government and this is already happening quickly. Notice how that sell out crap about waiting until next year to solve these illegal squatter's acts of disgrace has stopped?... :-) Keep up the pressure!!!



The second option is what I think we are all concerned about and that is what is also happening. Mexican mostly but other illegal aliens are killing 25 Americans violently every day while our government seeks to bring more here and shelter those parasites who are killing Americans. Also these illegals according to the FBI rape 8 American children per day. While Senator Feinstein does everything she can to encourage their rampages. It is okay to fly a foreign flag in the U.S.A., but to do so properly it MUST be displayed below an American flag if on the same pole, placed lower than the the American flag if on a nearby pole,and it cannot be a larger flag than the American flag.

To fly a foreign flag on American soil without doing it properly MAY be a violation of law, I'm not sure. It most certainly is RUDE, CRUDE and PROVOCATIVE. If someone tore it down and burned it, it would only be an appropriate form of protest, just like the Left likes to do with American flags.

Edit: Those are political differences and cultural differences. If this person was receiving death threats solely on the color of his skin, then it would be racist. But if it is based on issues of land ownership, legal issues, hatred of policies, governments, etc, then no, its not racist. Racism only applies if actions are done based soley on skin color. Otherwise its just plain old intolerance, bigotry, hatred, extremism, a million other things.... but not racism.
