Christians Only, Please! Will you please read my testimony and tell me what you think?

One day a few weeks ago I was praying to God first thing in the morning, asking Him to reshape my heart and my will to conform to His. I had prayed for that same thing many times before, but this time, as I was praying, I really felt God's presence much more closely and strongly than I ever had before. I sensed quite clearly His light and love and glory all around me. It was just as if a wall between God and me had been broken down at last and now I was standing in His holy light. WOW!!! Throughout that whole day I felt His love pouring down on me, and felt my spirit responding with so much adoration and gratitude toward Him, and so much love for others. I'm completely certain for the first time in my life that God has lit a lamp in my heart that will never go out. Let me tell you just a few of the changes He made in me:

That certainly sounds like getting born-again to me. That is what it was like for me. Just the certaintly and peace and wanting from the heart to please God in everything. Isn't He wonderful? There is nothing like living in peace with God. Congratulations. Very happy for you. I'm sure you will be reading your Bible with a new hunger. Be careful not to start building any wall between you and God by feeling you are not doing everything the Bible says. Just keep on trying and growing, and God will help you be everything you should be.

I am so excited for you! That is just a wonderful story and I am also a Christian. My wife and I had a wonderful Bible Study about twenty years ago and were baptized as a result of our belief in Jesus Christ. Keep reading and studying as well as praying each and every day. HIS WORD strengthens me every time that I open it up and read. Have a wonderful evening and a great New Year!

Reply:I say yes because this is how my spiritual rebirth came about. It's a whole new view of everything around you. So many people lose faith because their prayers are not answered. Seek the Kingdom first and then...

I never believed! I wanted to find out for myself! I was an outlaw! One of the famous wild bunch of todays standards.

Even now as I walk the holy lands, I still enjoy my temptations, I like my booze, I like wild women! Think about them all the time! I want one now!!! smile



But, let me say this- I know what I do I will pay for. I know the holy land I walk on is GOD'S land. I have seen the truth. But what is temptation? exactly!
Reply:You ha every right to feel such amazement. God knows what we need even before we do and it is not an old cliche it is true. God knows that what you got is what you needed,

He will make more changes... wait and see

I had gotten away from God and I missed that feeling of first being saved and feeling that warmth and closeness with God..But I prayed for God to bring me very close to him and open up my heart and I have felt my heart change. It's a very beautiful thing..

It just shows how real God is..

And yes, my whole attitude on people and life has changed too !

This definitely means your 'born again'.. I had the same feelings.. It's like the veil is taken off of your eyes and you can see everything clearly !!

Make sure to read your Bible because that is God's word to us..When I read my Bible it is my intimate time with God and I really feel the holy spirit !

I want you to understand that God is a Father. A better Father than any man could be.. If a child is born to a Good Father would he through His new child out is the snow and cold it it got dirty? Would He clean His child and still love her. Once you are born of the Spirit you can't be unborn. rust Jesus to be that Father to you. He promise those that come to Him He will in no wise cast out... Praise Him for the life that is now yours as I do right now. Thanking Him that I have a new sister and someday I will see you as we stand before the mercy seat I will take you hand look up to our Lord and shout my thankfulness that you are indeed my sister.. Reply:You are truly blessed then, I recently re-dedicated my life to Jesus, and I feel the same way you do, I can feel the love of Jesus and He answers my prayers as well. We are truly blessed if God is pouring His love on us.
Reply:This is an awesome testimony that I hope many take to heart and believe because it truly is an amazing thing to feel that burden lifted off your shoulders and given to Christ to bear for you. People without faith may find this story too good to be true or whatever, but I really hope people listen to you because you have a great testimony and need to tell everyone you can, believers and non-believers alike because it's an inspiration.

Reply:Congratulations Words for the Birds for your testimony that's not for the birds but for us fellow humans. It is hard to explain and convince people how it feels when God decides to release you from the devil's grip. God will help you if you let Him. Don't worry what other people think for they don't realize that the devil loves to dwell in the heart of an unbeliever.
Reply:whatever you do don't step into the light it may be hazardous to your health just kidding but really I am sorry to say that I am only an ex-christian but unlike most people who aren't christians I have this to say congratulations on finding faith in something I take it you aren't one of those people who would condemn a man for not believing in god and I applaud that.
