A plea on behalf of someone in need of a minor miracle: will you help?

I've been corresponding with a lady from Washington State. She has problems, mostly due to an adulterous, alchoholic husband with whom she is seperated.

I received this letter this morning. Will you help?

"What I have been asking God for is for my son......we have been without our home due to water damage....been living with friends, and it has been going on and on....paying a mortgage on a house I can not live in, no insurance....my son is hurting and I need my home...cant afford to rent another place, and too damaged to sell, all our money from years of payments are in that house.....it is getting worse and worse...it is for my son, I love my son....he needs a home...I believe I have been selfless. I don't ask for anything for myself..nothing not even love, just a home for my son....... that is what I pray for, ....I give glory to God for all the blessings I have..the health of my family, my job, my friends....that is what I ask God for...just a home for my son."

Tell her to check out Habitat for Humanity! It's a great Christian ministry that provides affordable family housing. God bless!
Reply:You've posted this at least three times today. You've always been a bit of a troll, and because you lack sincerety no one cares to help you or your friend.

If you are this concerned, help her yourself.

Also, there is a huge possibility that this is a scam. Why should we all be expected to fall for it? Charity begins at home, and I have no intentions of helping an internet entity who lives 3000 miles away.

Take it elsewhere.
Reply:I agree with Serena 100%.
Reply:As an atheist I will be more than happy to do something tangible for her, Please send me her information.
Reply:Father,

I lift up this woman and her son and situation to You for Your divine restoration of her life, all according to Your perfect will and time. Give her strength to endure what she must, and learn what it is that she is to get from these trials. Help to build her spirit and faith in You, knowing that You have this situation in Your loving and capable, caring hands. Open all doors for Her and her son, so that she can provide a clean safe life for herself as well as her son. I give You all the praise and all the glory for Your working things out for Her, all according to Your perfect will and time. In the most precious name of Jesus, amen!
Reply:Indeed if she contacts me and needs help I would do what I can to help. Regardless of her faith.
Reply:She should call the local battered women's shelter. That is a much more practical way to get help.
Reply:"Silver and Gold have I not, but such as I have I'll give thee."

Yes I will pray for them.
Reply:I will keep this woman and her son in my prayers!

Also, there are people that buy houses all the time to fix them up and resale them, is she sure that she can not sell the home and make some kind of profit out of it in order to possibly purchase a smaller home or at least find a place to rent from the money?

I would also talk to the childs case worker at the school, often times they are wonderful fonts of information on things that most of us would not have even thought of!

They are in my prayers...
