Is 40 a frost for flowers?
Some things will suffer at temps, higher than freezing , some as high as 45 F. You didn't say what the basket was. If it is Impatiens, New Guinea Impatiens, or some tropical houseplant type , bring it in . Cucumbers also suffer if it is below 40 . Cover 'em if you got 'em .
Reply:No you should be fine, we are still getting nights in the 40's where we live and our plant are doing fine.
Reply:32 is frost. They'll be fine
Reply:No your plants should be fine we had 2 nights of temps of 36-37 degrees and my tomatoes, eggplants, lillies, and dasies did just fine. The only thing that had a little bit of damage on it was my hops vine.
