What insect causes damage to a plant that leaves a transparentlike window look on the leaf?
Japanese Beetles! They make the leaves look just like lace. If it is these though you'll probably see them around your plant. Soapy water will get rid of them.
Reply:Japenese beetles will do this. They do mine I use spray called Sevin which will keep them off your morning glory
Reply:Spider Mites will cause this problem. Get yourself a systemic pesticide and follow directions for putting it in the soil. This deters all sorts of pests from ruining your nice plants. For a faster kill right now, use a spray.
