Really worried, please help?

Hi

I've been having bad unintentional thoughts using swear words in my head about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I am not worried about these because they are only thoughts.

But this morning, I was saying a Glory Be, I think I was saying God is good or something similar to combat some bad thoughts. While I was saying this, I was thinking that the f word is not in the Bible so it wouldn't be as bad to say that in offence at the Holy Spirit rather than saying something bad offending God about Satan.

BUT, I'm worried that I might have accidentally said something about attributing the works of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to Satan. It might be psychological, please help, I think I might've said the wrong thing.

Really worried, please help?
There are plenty of F words in the bible

Fornicate, Faith, False, Fault, Fear, Feeble-minded, Filth, and hundreds more in that list.
Reply:It is all int the programming. Like a computer.. what is programmed in is what comes out. I actually am disgusted by foul language. I do not associate with those who use it. I don't use it. It simply is a lack of vocabulary. Foul language gets used mostly by those who can not think of something else to say, then use the lame excuse of free speach to excuse it. As for the "f" word, it has its definition and reference and although it is not in the Bible, it still is inappropriate. The fact that you are "really worried" about this is a good thing. Pray and ask God for forgiveness and ask Him to help you control these thoughts. Sounds like you have a habbit that needs to be broken. Work on it. If you want to change and you work on it daily, it will change.

Looks like M.J.B. is willing to be a support to you. Accept it and e-mail him.
Reply:This is the devil trying to enter into your head. You must pray for God to stop these thoughts from entering your head. Keep saying "jesus, jesus jesus jesus jesus" out loud followed by hail mary and our father in heaven.

Read outloud passgaes from the bible, ask God to help you out loud.

Sometimes i suffer from this aswell. Its known as temptation, the devil trying to get inside you but you have to fight back.
Reply:We are in a Spiritual war. Pray and ask God to take away the thoughts that enter your mind. Call to Jesus and he will help you
Reply:sometimes in different circumstances we say such things, and generally there is no intention. Try to avoid, and don't worry there is no such things like Satan existing that is nothing but bad intentions.
Reply:I think you could be schizophrenic, it can be controlled with drugs and counselling, why not post this question in the psychology section
Reply:Are you in a cult? Get out of it and get some help outside of your religion. See a counselor or something.
Reply:Email me, buddy. Stop posting this question and talk to me. Still waiting to hear from you! :-)
Reply:It sounds like you have some mental issues going on there. Maybe you need some medication or something. I'm thinking possible OCD obsessive compulsive disorder. My husband has that and it sounds like you might be suffering from it, too. Medication will take away the obsessive thoughts.
Reply:What you're experiencing is the mentally unhealthy side of religious abuse. Spirituality promotes confidence and power but religion brings you fear, confusion and shame when its doctrines are unspiritual.
Reply:This is natural. It was described by Poe as human "perversion". What it is is like when you're really high up in the air you don't want to look down but you still do it. The mind can rebel against you without your control, this does not mean you don't have control over yourself, but that you don't have control over your subconscious and sometimes it will spring things into your head. You know it is wrong to think these thoughts and that is why you do it. It is your mind messing with you. If you can't control it there isn't much you can do. Just ignore it. If "**** god" comes into your mind, or something similar, it is just a bit of subconcious wanting to rebel against something, wanting to be "bad". Everyone gets these, I used to get urges to act just completely ridiculous and cause a big public embarrassment, I don't know why, I would imagine screaming mean things in a strangers face or taking off my pants or something completely random, but I would control myself. That's what it means to be civilized, ie: not saying these things out loud. But there's nothing you can do about thinking them.
