How do you get seeds from a wild lily?

i have a wild lilies and when the bloom died and dry. there were these things that look like chocolate cocoa krispies. i am not sure if they are seeds or not. they are a bulb plant and they look like a lily and when i search through photos i found one that looked identical its says its called a wild lily when i typed photos of wild lilys. they are all pink they same color. they are not day lilies for sure. i thought they were morning glories but i just realized morning glories are a vine.

It sounds to me as though you are describing a bellamcanda (bellamcanda chinensis). They are also known as "blackberry lillies" because of the seeds and seeds resemblance to a blackberry. The wild varieties are generally yellow to orange to deep rust; however they have been hybridized for all sorts of colors. You can most definitely grow them from seed; I have a friend in Arizona who hybridizes them! To get the seeds out, just split the pod open, and remove the seeds. It's a good idea to let them dry out a bit before planting them, to prevent problems with mold.
Reply:As far as I am aware, Lilly's grow from bulbs, and you can just dig them up! I have cut the bulbs in half with a spade and the plants have grown from both bits. Hope this helps.
