Do you think my plants will grow?

i have sunflower seeds from my old hamster mix and some morning glory seeds. i soaked the morning glory seeds for 1 day. then i got little cups and poked holes in the bottom and put the seeds in and covered it with soil. i watered it til the water was coming out of the bottom. i plan on planting them in pots and all i have are 8 inch diameter pots. i also have chinese lantern seeds. do u think the pots wwill be big enough? and also if i want to move my morning glory and my sunflower into the big pots after it sprout, how do ui do that?

I'm not really sure if the seeds from you old hamster mix are going to grow (they are probably processed seeds)
Reply:well i got the sunflower seeds from my bird mix and they have been growing fine they should grow because mine diddn't come up for a week or so but when they get bigger just dig the dirt around the plant and carfully pull the plant up then shake off the dirt just leaving the roots then go to the place wher you want to plant it dig it up and then make a hole and then put it in and put dirt around and fill it in then press the dirt inon the plant and water it also it may look dry for a few days but this means it is adapting
