Why is the new blonde surgeon so mean to Christina Yang (Sandra Oh's character). I remember she made a quip about Yang sleeping with her attending physician (Burke) but Izzie broke up a marriage and Meredith slept with her attending (McDreamy) and she's not mean to either of them.

Han is mean to Cristina because she use to have a lot of respect for her in the 3rd season, but then Han found out that Cristina was sleeping with 2 cardio guys, and thought she was sleeping her way to the top

She is quite serious and thinks Christina is a suck up. But, I think there is something more to the story that we will find out about later.

Reply:she was mad at her for basically sleeping her way to the top and not working hard to get there like the rest of the interns...cause she slept wth burke and then the dr.from her school ..i think..for a couple episodes back when burke was still on
Reply:It's like the new blonde surgeon takes on characteristics of men/surgeons. She is trying to teach Yang to have confidence in her skill %26amp; not depend on sleeping with the talent to be the talent. It's getting somewhat over the top, this season.
Reply:Because it is about perception that she sleeps her way through. She thinks that is why Yang is where she is rather than because of her skill. Which is not true. But that is what she believes.
The story needs some tension to make it interesting so that is what it is.
Reply:All I really know is that her name is Dr. Erica Hahn, played by Brooke Smith. She may somehow be jealous at her because Dr Burke graduated first over her.

Reply:She's the new cardio-thoracic head of surgery, and that's the specialty that Christina wants to study. The implication is that she's only been doing so well because she has had relationships with her 2 mentors to date, and that won't work with Dr. Hahn.
