Salvia????

Ok I have a question. Is Salvia, and Salvia Divinorum the same thing. Because I was at my local Walmart today, and saw Saliva, on a seed package. And I'm like "Oh ****!". Well first of all I have never taken a psychedelic drug before. And I'm not saying I'm going to. But lets say if I do, what would be a good one to start with. Oh wait, nvm, I've done Morning Glory before, but didn't take a high enough dose of it. I only stumbled around and stuff.

no not neccecarily....salvia is just a sage plant...salvia divinorum is a species of the sage plant. the diviners' sage... if you want a salvia plant that can be smoked and cause a psycadelic trip, you want salvia divinorum which will not be sold at wal-mart of all places. you would need to go to a specialty smoke shop or head shop and ask them for salvia divinorum... now depending on where you go, you will get several different prices and "extracts" you can buy salvia by bulk leaf and would need to smoke a lot of it to get any effect but also you can get extracts which will be packaged showing "salvia 5x, 7x, 10x, 13x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, 40x, 45x and all the way up to 60 and even 100x" but 60 and 100x are not trustworthy... now these will vary greatly in prices. you can buy a gram of 5x for about 15$usd and 45x is around 60$usd. now where i buy from is a flea market near where i live and they have a smoke shop in there which sells salvia divinorum which is produced by a herbal smoke company called ecstacy who also produce tobacco and nicotine free herbal cigarettes...now this company i trust when it comes to buying salvia divinorum extracts. kush on the other hand sells over priced poor quality salvia divinorum... now if you are looking for the live plant... you can try to find yourself a specialized nursery and ask them specifically for salvia divinorum...if they have it but are heasitant to sell it because they think you are some kid wanting to get high just explain to them that you are pagan or some other earth based religion and you would appreciate their sale to you for a vision quest...and no im not joking...otherwise the extracts sold at smoke shops are there for getting high or for more vivid vision quests...but if you get the plant by itself...you wont get much...you can also ingest it sublingually by the quid method where you roll the fresh leaves into little ball/cigar shaped roll and chew it but dont swallow...it takes about a half hour to get any effect and it wont be strong... if you get lucky and find a smoke shop that has it..be sure not to smoke too much and start off with 5 or 10x and work your way up from that... do NOT roll it into a joint, do NOT smoke it out of a regular pipe...just use a water pipe or bubbler and take the hit and hold it in for as long as possible and you will know if it worked..it hits you in about 20seconds to a minute and wears off over about a half hour...you really should research it before you buy it... so visit www.sagewisdom.com and/or wikipedia for more information....and remember be safe and logical in your use...and always always have a sober sitter...and be sure you've got you're ID ready when you buy it...sometimes they ask... email me later at ivirvviggles@yahoo.com and tell me how it goes.
