No they are not. The best plants for terrariums are slow growing tropicals. The plants must love humidity and little air flow. Some plants that do well in terrariums are African Violets, ferns and hypoestes.
Do Morning Glories grow well in a Terrarium?
Not unless you can afford them direct sunlight and a six foot trellis.
