Can pink and blue morning glories be pollenated by each other ?

I planted pink morning glories a couple years ago and now I planted blue ones. Will they pollenate and reseed or do I have to plant another blue morning glory next year?

Can pink and blue morning glories be pollenated by each other ?
actually, insects pollinate by carrying pollen from flower to flower...so , the answer is no.lol
Reply:Yes , the seed will product blues, pinks or purples , and sometimes throw-backs to the wild very small flowered ancestral plants
Reply:yes...few yrs ago i had 6 different colors of morning glories...the next year i had only 3 colors...they eventually go back to the basic purple if all are planted together
Reply:Yes

but most likely the pinks were a hybrid and when they came up from seed they have reverted to their native color. Blue is the most common color for morning glories
Reply:i would think so...it would make a varity of colours of pick, blue maybe even purple
Reply:I don't thonks so, If they were, there would probobly be no effect on either.
