I know this is really stupid but... will it hurt my dog?

my maltese picked up a morning glory seed, and started chewing on it but as soon as i realized he had it i took it away..

my husband and i are planting. will it hurt him...

i mean, i'm assuming you know what morning glory seeds are?? LSA... which is like acid

I know this is really stupid but... will it hurt my dog?
most morning glory seeds are treated with something (cant remember at the moment) that makes it so PEOPLE dont get that affect...mainly so kids dont go off and buy them to get high...I would assume it would be just as safe for your dog.
Reply:if he didn't have it for long he should be fine, if he starts looking sick take him to the vet

Reply:It will not hurt your dog just tell him to keep away from things that can harm him the seeds are supposed to be kept in a small box where he cant reach. And always keep the sharp objects after gardening cause you know dogs where ever ther noses go they go too...
Reply:It takes like 30 packets of seeds for a human to feel the wonderful effects.



Even if your dog does feel the effects it will be euphoric, and wouldn't last long.
Reply:I doubt one seed will affect your dog at all. I've ate handfulls without any affect.
Reply:I don't think one would hurt him but I wouldn't let him get in a whole bag.
