How do I care for morning glorys?

I have quite a few morning glory plants that seem to be dieing back as promised, for the winter....should I clip them back or trim them down or what?

How do I care for morning glorys?
Morning Glory's are self seeding. All you have to do is pull the plants now. That is the hardest part of growing them. If they are on a trellis, cut them every 6 inches or so and pull off the vines. Now all you have to do is wait until spring for them to pop up. Piece of cake.
Reply:Leave them alone until spring then pull out the old plants. They will reseed themselves and multiply like crazy. At least mine do here in Pa.
Reply:Thats really up to you, but I would unless you need the mess for some reason. But make sure to save the seeds so that you can regrow the plant. Although if the soil in wich they fall is good, they will more than likely propagate on their own. The seeds are very tiny and black.
Reply:trim them down and water shower too
Reply:It depends on what you want them to do.

I personally leave them alone so they'll re-seed themselves for next year. Also, the ugly dead branches should fall down on their own by February. But if you're tired of looking at it, just go at it and pull the whole thing down. They're only annuals and the seeds are cheap if you want more next year.
