Do you know why Jesus is the bright morning star?



Revelation 22:16

‘I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear witness to YOU people of these things for the congregations. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star.’”

Job 38:7 parallels “the morning stars” that joyfully cried out at earth’s founding with the angelic “sons of God.” (Job 1:6 and 2:1) The resurrected and exalted Jesus spoke of himself as “the brighter morning star” and promised to give “the morning star” to his conquering followers, evidently indicating a sharing with him in his heavenly position and glory.



Isaiah 14:12 refer to another son of God that betray his celestial father his given name after put against God is Satan remember that Sons of God are angels (Job 1:6 and 2:1)

And aren′t humans in that time because Jesus saidhe was the first to go heaven so the sons of God in Job are the angels.

In order to see a star in the morning when the sun is shinning the start must be extremely bright.

John Wesley said this about "star" in this verse:



"A star - A title often given to, princes and eminent persons, and particularly to the Messiah, Rev_2:28, Rev_22:16"



Wesley says this about the latter part of Rev 22:16, ("....I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.") wherein your question lies:



"I - as God. Am the root - And source of David's family and kingdom; as man, an descended from his loins. "I am the star out of Jacob," Num_24:17; like the bright morning star, who put an end to the night of ignorance, sin, and sorrow, and usher in an eternal day of light, purity, and joy."



Jesus was only referring to Himself in the words used in His Word - the Scriptures.

EDIT - ADDITION.



I've just read thru the answers and would like to try to clear up any confusion. Lucifer and Jesus were both referred to as morning stars. They are the stars referred to in this verse:

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?



They no longer sing together because Lucifer defied God and was banished to earth.

Reply:the funny thing christians do is seperate satan from god there is no such thing as a perfect being that isnt balanced to be perfect you must have perfectly balanced your negitive and your positive side. Christians as a whole dont want to belive in a terrible god consequences or that a good being is following through and dishing out those consequences so what do they do they say that god makes a angel who is very much cherished who falls away why so they can say that this evil being is the one who gives their consequece out.
